looking for wholesale beads for a craft project...?

I wanted to start making beaded leather wrap bracelets. and i want to find a good website for wholesale beads in bulk at a really good price. i googled it but i found alot of shady websites and was wondering if any one can speak from experience of buying them? im not looking for like 10k but for like 1k-2k at a time. thanks in advance.

1. I sure hope you do know about "Fire Mountain Gems". They have a wide range of beads to select from. Recently my girlfriend found a website offering very different beads. These beads are laboriously hand-made by artisans in India. They were really good quality and had a touch of uniqueness. You can look at their website at beadnshop.com . I don't know whether these beads can be used for your project because they are somewhat bigger in size for your project i guess. They have good online-support but you have to be patient after you place an order because your beads will be only made after your order.
