- firemountaingems.com is wholesale if you buy in quantity. i suggest naming your small business, and getting a tax ID # in your state, its usually pretty easy to obtain on line, with this ID number, you will be able to directly work with wholesalers, on line and otherwise, you will also be able to gain access to wholesale bead shows that travel from area to area.( like G&Lw )(they are so fun!! and you can pick and choose) even then there is sometimes a "minimum" amount the seller wants you to purchase before giving you the wholesale price, and they may require business card or other ID as well. if you dont do it for business, you might not want to register, even though you can claim 00.00 income you will still have to file a small tax prep quarterly. what im saying here is, if your just a small personal buyer there are ways to get true wholesale prices, but that will come with a price. now a place like firemountaingems.com still has good prices, but i know for fact that when sellers claim to sell at wholesale prices, its no price i would ever pay, except for FMG cause their quantity discounts are pretty good. trust me ive found many wholesalers that dont charge minimums, youve just got to look. hope that helps, and email me if you need. Bless you.
